fishing.ie exists to give every angler on the island of Ireland a single, reliable place to find fishing intelligence. Whether you're planning your first cast or your thousandth, you deserve to know what's happening on the water before you get there.

We're building a platform where anglers share real reports from the bank, the boat, and the shore — and where that collective knowledge becomes genuinely useful intelligence over time. Every river, lough, and coast mark on the island, covered by the people who fish them.

What We're Building

fishing.ie launched in early 2026 and is growing fast. Right now, the platform covers 22 venues across Ireland with detailed profiles, species information, seasonal guides, live weather data, and community fishing reports.

We're actively building AI-powered seasonal intelligence, service provider profiles, venue alerts, and expanding to cover every fishable water on the island. New features ship regularly based on what anglers tell us they need most.

Who's Behind It

fishing.ie is built and operated by an angler based in Ireland. It started from a simple frustration: there was no single place to check conditions, read recent reports, and find reliable information before heading out. So we decided to build one.

This is an independent project, not backed by a corporation or tourism body. That means the platform is built entirely around what's useful for anglers — no sponsored listings, no pay-to-play rankings, just honest fishing intelligence.
