Every year, Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) publishes hundreds of fishing reports from their officers across the country — covering Ireland's top loughs, rivers, and fisheries. They're packed with detail on catch rates, fly hatches, water conditions, and what's working where.
The problem? They're buried across thousands of individual posts spanning 15 seasons. Nobody has time to read them all.
We did. Using AI, we analysed every report — extracting species data, fly patterns, hatch timings, weather conditions, and catch rates — then cross-referenced it all with historical weather data. The result: venue-by-venue intelligence reports that reveal the patterns hidden across 15 years of fishing in Ireland.

Every intelligence report is built from real IFI (Inland Fisheries Ireland) fishing reports published on fishinginireland.info. We use AI to extract structured data — species, catch rates, flies, hatches, conditions, and locations — from each report, then aggregate across seasons to identify patterns that no single report could reveal.
We cross-reference fishing outcomes with historical weather data (wind direction, temperature, cloud cover, precipitation) from Open-Meteo to understand which conditions consistently produce the best fishing.
More venues are being added as we process the full IFI archive of 15,000+ reports across trout, salmon, pike, coarse, and sea categories.
