Aquaventures is a multi-activity charter operation based at The Stone House in Baltimore, West Cork, offering wreck fishing, reef fishing, and shark fishing across the rich waters from Galley Head to Mizen Head. Skipper Jerry Smith operates the Offshore 125, a powerful and capable vessel fitted with twin 380hp Volvo Penta engines, full navigation electronics, and hydraulic diver lift.
The waters off Baltimore and West Cork are among the most productive in Ireland for sea angling, with easy access to dozens of charted wrecks, extensive reef systems, and the deep-water marks where blue shark congregate during summer. Target species include blue shark, pollack, cod, ling, conger eel, wrasse, and a variety of ray species on the inshore marks. Rod and tackle hire is available on board.
Beyond fishing, Aquaventures also offers diving trips to famous wrecks including the U260 and Kowloon Bridge, wildlife watching tours for humpback and minke whales, dolphins, and basking sharks, and scenic boat trips around Roaringwater Bay and the Carbery Islands.
