Baltimore Wildlife Tours is a charter fishing and wildlife watching operation based in Baltimore, West Cork, skippered by Kieran Collins. The Deora Dé is a fast, modern charter boat built to Kieran's own specifications and exceeding current maritime safety standards, providing a stable and comfortable platform for offshore fishing up to thirty miles from port.
Specialising in wreck fishing, shark fishing, and common skate fishing — three disciplines for which Baltimore is justly famous — Kieran targets the full range of species found in these productive Atlantic waters. Blue shark, pollack, cod, ling, conger eel, whiting, wrasse, gurnard, garfish, coalfish, and mackerel are all regularly caught, with common skate providing a genuine specimen challenge for experienced anglers.
Baltimore Wildlife Tours is actively involved in conservation tagging programmes with Inland Fisheries Ireland, tagging shark and common skate to support research into fish stocks and migration patterns. When not fishing, Kieran runs wildlife watching tours through the waters of West Cork, where sightings of humpback and minke whales, dolphins, seals, and basking sharks are a regular occurrence.
