After 35 years fishing waters across Europe — including Iceland, Finland, Sweden, and Switzerland — he recently stepped down as editor of the Flyfishing Journal to guide full-time on Corrib.
Ceri covers the full season from duckfly and olives in early spring through the famous mayfly, summer caenis, a second mayfly push in July, and into the sedge and daddy longlegs fishing of August and September. His ferox fishing on the deep water of upper Corrib is a particular passion — he has had countless double-figure specimens through years of dedicated pursuit. He runs the Casting with Ceri Jones podcast, one of Ireland's best-known angling shows.
