Peter is an APGAI-qualified casting instructor and advanced fly dresser with over 30 years of competitive fly fishing experience, having represented Ireland at World and European Fly Fishing Championships and winning the TAFI National Rivers title in 2022. He currently serves as Chairman of the Trout Anglers Federation of Ireland.
Piscari Fly offers full and half-day guided sessions on the River Nore at Thomastown and through a partnership with Blackwater Trout and Salmon Fishery, providing access to over 8km of prime river fishing. Sessions cover euro nymphing, dry fly, wet fly, streamer, and dry-dropper techniques for all levels from beginners to advanced competition anglers. Casting clinics and fly tying workshops are available separately.
In addition to guiding and instruction, Piscari Fly operates a well-stocked tackle shop carrying fly tying materials, hooks, rods, reels, lines, and flies from leading brands.
