Sea Otter Charters operates from the historic harbour at Kinsale, one of Ireland's most popular sea angling ports on the south Cork coast. Skipper Dennis brings over thirty-five years' experience on the water, with an intimate knowledge of the reefs, wrecks, and deep-water marks off the Old Head of Kinsale and beyond.
The boat is a fast and stable 30-foot Safehaven Evolution catamaran powered by twin 575hp engines, purpose-built for offshore fishing in Atlantic conditions. The catamaran hull provides exceptional stability even in a swell, making it a comfortable platform for a full day's fishing. Sea Otter accommodates up to eight anglers for fishing trips or eleven passengers for scenic tours.
Deep sea angling trips target a wide range of species including blue shark, pollack, cod, ling, conger eel, and coalfish on the many wrecks and reef systems within reach of Kinsale. Shark fishing is a particular speciality during the summer months when blue shark move inshore along the south coast. All tackle and bait can be provided, making Sea Otter an excellent choice for visiting anglers and groups looking for an unforgettable day on the Atlantic.
