Started early in Keekil with not much fly life or fish showing. Did a couple of drifts before heading to Wormhole, Ballindiff, Marker 50, and surrounding areas. First fish was in Ballindiff at about 11:30 to buzzer on the point. The fly weren’t really showing at this stage. Lost another about a hour later. By lunch time plenty of buzzers (campto) and Olives were showing. Lots of fly life. As the wind died down there were several fish showing but they were just not taking our flies. Later, my mate caught two on buzzer in close succession. Aside from those, we had no other takes or misses. We saw a couple of other boats take a fish but not many. On the shore, several boats blanked or had one or two max. It was supposed to be 15C but felt cold. The wind was very light and flat calm at times. At some times it felt perfect conditions but the fish were not playing ball. The cloud gave a grey/oily look on the water from it - as opposed to being bright. The fly are definitely up, so I think it’s just a matter of time before it really picks up.
