Tough going today. Most boats had a tough session. We had 3 smallish trout all to Olive cdc dries. There were decent hatches of olives in Ballindiff and Lime and fish moved a bit when the wind died down, but it was windy enough most the day and bitter cold. Marker 50 had very little fly life and just saw the one fish move in there. We saw about two campto Buzzer all day and the buzzers didn’t produce. I had one other fast take/miss on the olive nymphs and also missed a couple more on the dries. Other boats had 6 to dries , another had 2 to Buzzer and nymph. Several others blanked. It felt like if the wind stayed down and the sun had a chance to warm things up, it could have kicked off properly. Things look like they’re going to warm up a bit during the week, so that might get the buzzers going.
